Same day. During our on-site setup visit (covered by the one-time setup fee), we complete system configuration and provide 90 minutes of hands-on training open to all staff—recreation, nursing, admissions, therapy, anyone who wants to learn.
Staff can begin running supervised sessions immediately after training. We also provide online training guides for reinforcement and future staff onboarding, plus a VR Training Certificate program for professional development.
Initial on-site training (included in setup fee): We provide 90 minutes of hands-on training at your facility during initial setup, open to all departments: recreation staff, nursing aides, PT/OT, admissions, social work, therapy, anyone who will use the system.
Quarterly refresher training (included in monthly subscription): During our on-site support visits every 4 months, we provide light refresher training for existing staff and full training for any new team members.
Online training guides: Simple, easy-to-follow training resources available anytime for reinforcement and new staff onboarding between visits.
VR Training Certificate: Staff who complete training earn a professional development certificate.
No prior VR experience needed—we train you from the ground up and continue supporting you throughout your partnership.
No to both. Virtu-Well operates over a local Wi-Fi access point included in the kit. Sessions run on the local network; internet is not required for normal use. This means your VR program works independently of your facility's internet connection and doesn't require IT involvement.
The only time internet is helpful is when we perform remote troubleshooting or content updates, but even those can wait until our quarterly on-site visits if internet isn't available.
The one-time setup fee covers everything needed to launch your program successfully:
On-site training session: 90 minutes of hands-on training at your facility, open to all staff across all departments. Staff leave training ready to run sessions confidently.
Equipment setup and configuration: Complete system setup, network configuration with your included local Wi-Fi access point, content loading, and testing. Everything is ready to use immediately after training.
Documentation package delivery: F-tag compliant templates, care plans, progress notes, participation tracking tools, and all materials needed to launch with survey-ready documentation.
This is a one-time fee per facility. After setup, your monthly subscription covers unlimited sessions, quarterly on-site support visits with refresher training, content updates, ongoing support, and everything else needed to maintain a successful program.
